After a busy year of Eco work we were delighted to receive our Green Flag Award on 7th June. Anna from Eco-Schools NI presented the award to Miss Hanna our Eco-Coordinator along with members of the Eco-Committee. Children from the Hedgehog and Badger Classes were able to watch, along with some parents/grandparents.
Anna commented on the amazing work of the Eco-Committee, the high levels of community involvement and the amazing school grounds. She then surprised us with a second award. We also won Eco-School of the Year for Ards and North Down Borough Council. It was a wonderful surprise!
