This week we had one of our parents come in to tell us all about Carnival. Where people dress up in masks to chase winter away and welcome the sun back. We then heard the story of Alkino who was too poor for a costume, so his mother cut bits of fabric to make one. We then used pieces of material to make Alkino’s costume. To finish we had a confetti party.
