As a school we are dedicated to ensuring every child is able to meet their full potential. Our aim for every child is grow in confidence and understanding, developing a love of learning that will last their whole lives. One way we do this is by developing the staff through training opportunities and professional development. Staff from each classroom are currently completing Attention Autism Training. We are very grateful to the Integrated Education Fund who are supporting us to complete this training through a funding grant.
Being able to include the Attention Autism programme in school will help us ensure that every child is given irresistible invitations to learn every day in every one of our classrooms. It will from a part of our Whole School SEN Provision Map, showing how we support children with special educational needs from the earliest days of identification right through to those who have a Statement of SEN. The training is engaging, enjoyable and research-informed. We are sure it will be a great addition to the learning opportunities we offer in school!
