Our nursery school is deeply committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and belongs. We actively promote inclusion for all children, recognising and celebrating their unique strengths and needs. To further enhance our understanding and practices, our staff have proudly completed comprehensive training with Autism NI, earning their Education Champion Impact Award in 2023. This specialised training empowers us to better support children with autism and diverse learning styles, ensuring that our nursery remains a welcoming and enriching space for every child and family.

 

Staff have additional training and experience in supporting autistic children and children who may be on the diagnostic pathway within the Nursery.  Your child's teacher, along with the Learning Support Co-ordinator Miss Algie, will be able to work with you and your child to ensure their needs are met within the school and that every child is empowered and enabled to meet their potential.
