Bangor Central Nursery School, Bangor

Rabbit Class

The Rabbit Class  is a full time class running from 9am - 1:30pm each day.

The class teacher is Mrs O'Driscoll.  The ladies that help in our room are Mrs Patterson and Mrs Khanom. Our day is full of songs, stories, creativity and fun. We love to play indoors and outdoors everyday.

We have all settled in well during our busy first half term and have enjoyed exploring our nursery and making new friends. We have been learning lots about Autumn and hibernation and are beginning to explore the colder weather moving into Winter.
We have enjoyed a walk to the local library to hear stories and learn how to borrow books, as well as trip to Clandeboye Forest School. We had a lovely visit from the Ark Open Farm and raised lots of money for BBC Children in Need.

We had a wonderful and busy December with trips to The Mac to see the Elf Inspector, our whole school Christmas singing for parents and family, and lots and lots of Christmas activities.
Since our return to school we have had lots to explore with our icy weather. We are learning all about ice, how it is formed and what happens when it gets warmer!!! We have enjoyed looking at animals from cold lands too. Our children have been interested in making rockets with our construction toys and so we have been learning about space.
